About us:

Our Branch was formed in January 2006, as part of the National PSA , Prostate Cancer Support Association, and became a self-funding Branch, named PSA Canterbury Branch.

At the end of December 2006, our membership is about 45 paid-up members, and expanding. Our members live in from S.E. Kent (see Contact us Page). Our membership includes MacMillan Nurses, trainee consultant radiographer and nurses from Urology and Oncology departments at K & C Hospital, Canterbury.

Members were saddened to hear about the death of one of our most valiant members Cecil Varley, who died on 22nd August 2008.
Cecil was a founder member and his interest and enthusiasm was an asset to the Branch. Despite his many health problems he was always keen to contribute at our meetings. He will be sadly missed.
Our condolences to his wife Beryl and family.
